My Story
How I built my business…
I have an international brand and business development consultancy called Metamorphosis, and Iāve been consulting to multi-million dollar global brands for over 20 years.
Before launching Metamorphosis, I spent 8 years working in marketing and innovation in the corporate world, but Iāve been an entrepreneur since the age of 6 and Iāve launched 7 businesses since then, so my heart lies with entrepreneurs like you, because I know how hard it is to start and then grow your own business.
In the early years of building Metamorphosis, I was pretty much doing everything myselfā¦
I had big deadlines from very demanding corporate clients, I had nobody to bounce ideas off and I started to doubt my decisionsā¦ I was seriously stressed!
I was battling to sleep, my brain just kept buzzing and I worked extremely long hoursā¦
Needless to say, I almost ended up in hospital with burnout, TWICE!!

Here I was giving business advice to huge corporate companies, yet I couldnāt even run my own small business properly…
Thatās when I had that ālight bulbā momentā¦ it was time to start practising what I preach!ā

š¦I clearly defined what made my business unique and sought-after and I focused on thatā¦
š¦I started to focus on only the big projects that really moved the needle in my business and I learned to say ānoā to the othersā¦
š¦I started to apply the exact advice and processes that I offered my big clients to my small business…
It didnāt take long for me to grow my 7-figure business and more importantly to get my life back.

MY PURPOSE
My “Butterfly Effect” in business…
The reason I have such a vested interest in your business success is because I believe that, without realising it, you inspire other women to want to build their own businesses and they in turn inspire others, causing a whole ripple effect that gives more women financial freedom.
For some, this allows them to get out of situations they would rather not be inā¦ and at the heart of this lies my burning need to use my experience and expertise to help fight Gender Based Violence.
I love to spend quality time with my husband, Andrew and our 3 teens. Quality time is my love language! ā¤ļø
On weekends youāll find us on our farm in the Natal Midlands or on the beach.Ā Ā šGetting back to nature is how I like to destress, but reading a good book, with my bulldog Harry š¶ snoring at my side, works well too.
I also love art, šØ taking photos š· and going to the movies. Popcorn is a must! šæ Iāve never had a cup of coffee, but I make sure to get my caffeine kick from plenty of chocolate! š«
